BX23 Fuel Issue Help...

Ok, was running just fine.
Tank got low.
Engine burbled once, I cut it off and went for fuel.
Got Kroger car fuel, no fuel buddy!
On restart (no burble), after a while (10 minutes?), lost high RPM power, hi rpm burbles, etc... got through the day.
Threw in Diesel 911 per NAPA recommendation, no better. Through the day affected lower RPMs. Got through the day, coming home tomorrow.

I have 1 Kubota fuel filter in hand - do I change first (pre lift pump) or second (pre pressure pump on engine).

First or second if only 1 in hand?

Change the first one by the lift pump under the tractor.

Also, when the tractor is KOEO, is there noise like a pump emminating from the bottom of the tractor where the lift pump is?

I do hear the pump, it was changed, oh, 150 hours ago.

On principle, try bleeding the fuel system per the manual. It may not help but can't hurt.

Yes, but closest was NOT off road

Well, first filter seemed to do it, Messicks on the way, and no work days for 10 days or so... so probably solved!
