BX23 Implement Limitations

Here's the harrow part. We used it about a week after tilling, then spread grass seed. To cover the seed, we drug this again with a heavy log chain behind it. It came up like it was drilled in!

Don't pay attention to the 2x4 brace--its since been replaced with a proper metal brace.

Son & I had a blast (he's never welded). I tacked all the teeth on the harrow, and we took turns welding them on. As we snagged tree roots, some would break off. Most we found. Then we'd "argue" about who's welds failed. Great fun!

Neat Ron! I love it when a plan comes together. Is the frame 1" x 2" x 16ga. tubing?

It's 1 x 2, but might be heavier than 16 ga. I'm not up on my ga sizes, but think it's a little less than .125 thick.

It's whatever I bought at the surplus metal store.

I build a lot of my stuff around what I can buy cheaply.
