...and I find Chris here! Ha!

Guys I am seeking information and I know basically NOTHING about
the snowblower and the sweeper but what I do know is they connect
to the MID PTO and THAT is what I am trying to learn about. The driveline
assemby and what it connects to in the front and how it is routed to the rear and all teh parts that make it tic...

Might I be so bold as to ask for some pictures of that driveline assembly
installed so I can see whats what? The GrappleOmatic is pretty much done
and my next victum is finding use for the unused mid PTO.

BX2750A front mounted snow thrower gets mounted to an interim mount that attaches relatively easily to the black bar/mount at the front of the BX2230. There are two long pins and two screw/wedge devices that make mounting relatively easy. The interim mount contains the hydraulics for up & down. The thrower pushes onto this mount and locks in place. There is a drive shaft that slips over the spline of the thrower and connects to the PTO at the rear. The drive shaft connects to the same PTO point as does the mid mount (60") mower deck that I use.

I just took mine off yesterday after taking photos to sell my BX2230 with attachments so I can't take photos of the drive chain. I did attached one photo with it mounted on the BX2230 where you can see the front attachment and the driveshaft underneath.

Hope that helps.

Thank you Tom, I see a lil more now, looks like ground clearance goes down to about 3" or so as well.

PS, looks like you lift arms for a MMM need to be raised before you demo
it in the woods!

I think the drive axle for the mid PTO is pretty much custom.

For the snow blower it goes from the hydraulic transmission shaft and comes up the front where the quick disconnect for the snow blower or grader blade goes (grader blade doesn't use mid PTO).

Grader blade does use second hydraulic circuit.

The quick disconnect (which is mounted where the bumper goes) also has a lift cylinder.

The mower are much different I think. I think they just have a shaft to the mower. They surely do not use the quick disconnect for the blower or grader blade. It's in the wrong place.

Hope this helps some.

It would be nice to be able to hook up a generator this shaft in as much as the engine must run pretty fast to use the rear PTO at 540 RPM.

I wonder if PTO generators accept something different 540 RPM.

I'm not sure that I had the thrower raised totally off the ground when I took that shot the other day. I think it goes up a little higher but the mount is probably 3-5" off the ground.
There is also a simple, heavy duty guard plate that gets mounted onto the frame near the front drive shaft spline with two bolts. It keeps the drive shaft great at the spline from spinning out onto the bottom of the tractor.

The thrower works great. I also have the optional linear motor that moves the output chute up & down so you don't have to keep getting off the tractor in tight spaces to place the snow.

My blower, cobbled from craigs list parts and new parts is still in pieces.
I should finish getting it together before winter.
