But what happens to the hair-pin clip when you accidentally turn the PTO on /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It's free to copy, but if I'd been a real genius, I could have taken orders before I showed it to anyone.
I thought of that too, so I turned it on and the cover turned till the clip hit, then the pto just spun in the cover. I'll clean the shaft an put some grease on it so if I do forget and turn it on, it will take a long time for the pto to wear through, guess I can use synthetic grease and it would never wear out if I left the pto on. Next project, chainsaw carrier.

The only bad part of this is my list of stuff to build for the Bota is growing faster than I can handle it:

* Skid Plate
* PTO cover
* Reroute the Tiny Tach wires (mine now are pinched by the hood)
* Enhance the grill guard (might flame cut "Captain Kubota")
* Add a rear remote to the BX
* Find or fab a foldable Rops (I know, I know, no need to flame)
* Build a pulverizer/overseeder
* Would like to build/buy something like a TR3 rake or a small Harley type rake.

Too many goals/Too little time and money...........

re: a chainsaw carrier. We were looking for a small trailer to tow behind our BX2230 so the spouse could carry her yard tools around. It was suggested we get a weight box as spouse was not crazy about a trailer. It arrived today with our new BX2230 and the weight box will work perfectly as the "pickup bed" for the tractor.
