I'm going to look at a BX23 TLB with about 300 hours on it. Looks good in the pics, but haven't seen it in the flesh yet.

Seller is asking $12,000, which seems a little high to me. What are your thoughts on pricing on one of these.

From what I can see, the asking prices on BX TLB's don't get down in the $12k and below range unless they are high hour units and/or one's that have been worked hard. A clean, low hour unit in good condition typically has an asking price nearer to $15k. That's not what they actually sell for, of course, but my sense is that $12k price isn't too bad. If you can get some more off with some haggling, you may end up with a really great deal.

If it's nice--and I mean nice--they go around here for 13-14k with that kind of hours (low)...of course you want evidence of maintenance and care...If it's kept indoors and maintained, it's a great machine...After almost 10 years I have only done the maintenance and replaced the battery in 395 hrs...Runs like a Swiss watch.

I sold my B X 23 TLB with 54 inch MMM, over a year ago, for $11,000 with over 600 hours. Good shape, and I had just done the oil, and hyd fluid change my self., so take that for what its worth.

Well, I bought the BX23. Bought it this morning and ordered the Bro-Tek front and rear skid plates and ripper this afternoon. I have work to do and I don't have time to mess around with a shredded transmission fan.

I know that it didn't happen without pics. I'll try to post some tomorrow.

Dang, this time last week I didn't own a tractor. Now I've got TWO of them.

Congrats! I just got a Bro-Tek ripper tooth for my BH77 & I love it! Makes stump removal so much more efficient! Enjoy!

I just traded in my BX23 with 2200 hours for a B2650. The dealer told me that those little machines didn't usually get that many hours. I always did my own service and outside of some loose bucket pivot points the tractor it was tight so they gave me what I felt was a fair trade in value but not $12K
