BX23

While at my local Kubota dealer picking up Hydro filter and of course Super UDT Fliud for my BX23 I noticed the new BX24's (TBL's) sitting out side shop.
I just had to go over and inspect the new orange machine, one had the hood for the engine compartment open sooo I looked inside, label on engine said BX23!! Surprised I was, the other item I noticed was the air cleaner, it was placed in the back side of engine sideways by the rad screen. Then I took a look at the back hoe, the lower pivot point plate on the BH was noticeable smaller then my BX23, but a great looking orange machine.

Semper, those are good observations.

If you take a close look at your BX23, you'll see that the engine says BX22. If you set the BX23 and BX24 side by side to compare them, you will notice that Kubota has used less metal (and more plastic) on the BX24, and also metal of a lesser thickness on the FEL mounting brackets and on many parts of the Backhoe, is contrast to your BX23.
