You guys did great
stu, I would have never guessed it would be a nut issue. pun intended. I was wondering if you could post a pic of where the nut was or describe it ? I was thinking if yours fell off, I wonder if mine might be loose and if it is, then I want to add red loctite to prevent similar fate. I wouldn't want to lose that feature.![]()
I think I found an answer to my question: in some old posts by kennyd (great name by the way), this is not a "problem" but a "feature" and doesn't seem to require replaceing the valve.
Just wish Kubota would make this "feature" a lot clearer in their documentation tha came with the chute rotator!
Oldnslo:Another option if you can train your self is to swap functions when using the blower.
Use curl function for lift and dump for lower. Just use a little caution since the lower will be quick do to the regen.
Use raise and lower for right and left turn of chute.
I find this much easier to use since now you feather the chute movement easier in both directions. This also works for snow plows where the swing is an issue.
