I just had a BX2350 with a 60" MMM and a B7510 with a 60" rear discharge RFM out to demo for the weekend. We've got a new house lots of dirt and field, no real 'lawn' and while both mowers got the job done both my wife and I preferred the RFM for two reasons: 1) With the very light dusty soil we have and the lack of an established lawn the MMM COVERED us with dirt, dust and dried grass. 2) We both prefered the rear discharge for the lack of windrow. (we also had a case DX29 with a side discharge RFM and preferred the rear discharge). We were mowing what would be the equivalent of your pasture with few obstacles except a few tree lines. Surprisingly my wife preferred the RFM for the trees because with the rear-discharge she could get between them with both sides of the deck, whereas I preferred the BX2350 for driving up to them.
Demo both types of mowers if you can. Between the two of us we put rougly 10h on each of them. I'm still making up my mind, but this weekend really helped.
