BX2350 Mowing Options

The MMM will give you more balance for the weight you have. The RFM will give you more length and less weight distribution. But if a RFM is more practical then go for it.

Now I'll bring this thread around full circle.

I started out by telling all the price I had been quoted for a BX2350. When I had been on the lot, I had looked at the 2350 and a B7800. The 7800 was nice, but more than I wanted to spend (and probably needed). The sales guys quoted me 9,850 for a 2350 with 60" MMM. I couldn't find anyone that could touch that.

I have been talking to the sales guy daily for the last week, hammering out the configuration of the 2350 and such. Yesterday, I settled on a configuration and told him to put the deal together and figure out a delivery schedule.

We talked again this morning, and he started out by telling me that he had sorta screwed up and quoted me a price for an 1850. Before I could say anything he proceeded to tell me he had talked to the boss and they had decided they had to stick with their quote (it probably helped that I had it in writing).

Anyway, the point of this is not to boast about the deal I am getting, but to let all know, esp. volfan, to consider Dooley Tractor in Athens for your needs. I've read all over this board about the importance of dealer relationships, so if this is your kind of dealer, let them know.

BTW, they did not low ball me on the tractor and MMM and then gouge me on the implements.

14,045 OTD (no tax) for BX2350, 60" MMM, LA243 FEL, 4' rotary cutter, PHD, 4' box blade. They can compete with the rest across the board.

Taking delivery tomorrow morning. Can't imagine what I'll be doing this weekend /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Go Big Orange!

p.s. to volfan -- went to the mf dealer to look at the 2310 ... was told to come back 'cause the guy who knew about the tractors was not there. Went to Dooley and never looked back. Got to have the rotary for our pasture. We got horses and we wait until the areas they cr** in get overgrown before we knock it all down, so I don't want to put my lawn mowing blades on the MMM through patches of 12 - 16 inch grasses. Already screwed up my little Cub trying to do that.

Thats a great deal! It's a whole lot better than the price I got at 2 different Kubota deallers on a BX2230 w/FEL & MMM a few yrs ago.
I missed checking out Dooley's, I know exactly where they're at. I just didn't get down around there when I was shopp'n around. Sounds like they are a very good dealer, especially since they stuck to their price.

You'll come to appreciate all that the BX brings to the table. As a finish mower it easily outclasses any of my former lawn & garden tractors and the FEL is a back saver. They're very easy on the fuel too. I haven't had to use a PHD or disc or plow yet but wouldn't hessitate too if the need arrose. I haven't set out a large garden in a few yrs now and have finally got the back field looking like a lawn but I do miss watching the corn & pumpkins grow. I may cut me out a small patch next season.

I may be in the market for a 4' bush hog this summer. What brand did you get?

Well I'm sitting out here on the patio w/my wireless connection enjoy'n a cup-a-joe and what appears to be the start of a very nice and DRY Saturday. Looks like I'm gonna get me some quality seat time today, finally!

How 'bout them VOLS
