Dealer in NH (Chappell Milford) just quoted me $10,800 for a 2350 with 60"mmm, no FEL -- already have a bigger tractor with that. Kubota has 0% financing for 3 years. Does this sound fair. I've heard the service is excellent there and it's only 5 minutes from my house.

Thanks.

I received a quote for $10,200 with the 60"mmm in Eastern Ohio. $10,000 even in West Virginia panhandle.

Thanks for the replies. I paid $10,800 with 60" mmm. May have been able to shop around for a lower price, but the dealer is literally 5 minutes from our farm and they have a great reputation for service.

Free delivery, guy spent an hour with me going over everthing. Went right out and tried it in a couple spots in our orchards that are notorious for lush, thick grass. I am amazed by the strength of the mower. No comaparison to a garden tractor.

I had taken a look at them, but they were parked next to bigger tractors. I was expecting something more like a beefed up riding mower. This thing is a tractor. I don't understand why Kubota markets them strictly to homeowners. This thing is going to a fantastic addition to our farming fleet.

I was quoted a price on a 2350 was $9400.00,FEL $2800.00 ,60"mower $2000.00 and $2000.00 for a grass catcher. Does this sound reasonable? Im located in New York and wasn't sure if this was a fair price or inflated because its NY. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Also they said I couldn't put a backhoe on it. I don't believe that. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket backhoe that would work with this model???

Thanks so much
Bob

Hi Bobcar. You would be paying $600 more than I did in southern NH for the tractor and mower, and I bought at a place that is known to be a bit high. I've seen people talking about prices much lower. I might look around a bit if I were you.

Regarding the backhoe, when they delivered my tractor yesterday I specifically asked if a backhoe could be put on the tractor and was told no. I didn't think so. For one thing, the seat doesn't turn around. They make the BX24 for people who want a backhoe.

Kubota doesn't, but Woods does. Several people here have them, including me, and find they work just a s good as (or better than) the Kubota version on the 22, 23, and 24 series.

Good luck and happy tractoring!

Pretty slick. Maybe the guy misunderstood me to be asking if Kabota made one for the 2350.

When I was at the DLR. He told me the only big difference is they beefed up the rear end. So I was told and of course the seat.

That sounds about right. They use a larger (stronger) frame in the rear to keep the back hoe from twisting it. The Woods gets around this by supplying a bolt on subframe that accomplishes the same task. And they supply a rotating seat bracket. If I were buying and knew I needed a back hoe I would probably try to get the BX 24 but it's nice to know you have options if you can't afford it now or didn't realize you needed a hoe when you bought.

I would find out if using the Woods backhoe would void the tractor warranty before committing to it.

Along the same lines here, the local dealer told me if I don't get the BX24 with the BH, one cannot be added later. Think maybe it's a way to try to sell BH's up front?
