Bx2350 vs b7610

Went to the local dealer and got pricing on both units with a FEL and 54" mower. The difference is about 1,555. I noticed that the B w/FEL will not lift as much as the BX. Is this due to CoG. The BX is at 6.5 and B at 12 inches ground clearance. Can't decide which one to get. Have 5.5 acres and will cut about 2 to 3 ac's. Will have 2 horses in a barn/stable. Question is which makes more sense to get.

my buddy has a bx and i have a b7510. there is no way the bx will lift more.
i bush hog with mine and the b series is a much better choice for crossing rugged ground.
i would get a b without question. don't overlook the 7510. i figured it would be underpowered. it is not. i have been very impressed with the machine.
i originally was looking for a 7800 or 7610 when i came across a great deal on the 7510.

To me it not a big deal I looking for the best value overall. The price was
BX at 12000 and B at 13251 both w/FEL only. Plan to get a 54" mower.

The figures for the BX that you see are at pivot pins.

Here are the figures for the B7510-B7610 at pivot points.

To get true lift capicity look at lift Capicity 500mm (19.7 Inches forward of Pivot Pin).

Had a BX 2200 which is about the same as a BX 2350 and I sold it to get a B7500 which is about the same as a B7510.

The main reason I sold the BX 2200 is not enough ground clearance and kept getting it stuck from the transaxle bottoming out in soft soil.

If you are going to work in woods or soft soil get a B7510 or B7610.

The B7510 power comes on much sooner then the BX2350 engine.
B7510----21 Horse Power @ 2600 RPM.
BX2350----23 Horse Power @ 3200 RPM.

My B7500 seems much stronger then the BX2200 ever was.
The reason is torque.
The engine touque band is much lower and broader on the B7500 and B7510 then the BX tractors.

Reason the B7500 and B7510 engines have more torque is Larger Cubic Inch Displacement.

The BX tractors try getting the horse power out of a smaller cubic displacement engine by spinning it at higher RPM's.

I would have to say that the 7610 may give you more flexibility for future implements and uses due to the larger stature of the 7610. If you don't care about that or anything else, I'd get the BX and an extra implement or 2 with the $1555. I'm kindof surprised the price is so close.

The B7510 is very close to the same price as a BX2350.

The thing you have to figure out is what are you going to use it for.
I made a mistake with my first Kubota and I try to help others not to make the same mistake.

BX series tractors are good tractors but they have limitations in soft soil with low ground clearance.

All tractors have limitations. Just try to make the best decision the first time.
