I am not exactly bent out of shape, but I do take into account that most posts will either go way positive or way negative. How many post are there showing "my kubota is alright, its not great but gets the job done". Mostly what you see is its great or its a POS. Forums specifically about the items in question are usually much higher pro then con. The true answer is almost always between the pros and cons posts.

Upon seeing the negative, i posted here to get feedback , and in return i learned a lot in a short amount of time. And while a lot of that negative reviewers comments have some degree of truth, they certainly don't appear to raise to the level of concern that he is suggesting. I was pretty sure he was over the top, but I wanted to see what level of truth was in his statement.

User forums are a tremendous tool, i usually seek out the most negative issues and see how they hold up. Even if they are true, and you accept them as they are, you wont be disappointed when they happen.

Thanks all.

With my 7610 i know exactly what I can do and have been very pleased. I could of course keep this tractor and use it at the new house. Its just that its way overkill for the new yard. Moving to the bx i get a new tractor under warr, a couple hours vs 250 and a more size appropriate tractor. The one thing i was never happy with was the mowing quality with the 60" deck, Seems like the bx and a 54" may do a better job.

So mostly I am just worried about kicking myself latter saying I should have kept the 7610. But then again if keep the 7610 and anything breaks i might be kicking for now replacing it.

In the end i think the bx is the right move. I am going to ask for the skid guard to alleviate that concern.

Thanks for all the help.

I went from a 54" deck to a 60" and love the quality of cut. The decks on the BX are suspended while I think they are floating on the bigger tractors, not sure though. The 60" on the BX is of a "self leveling" design. Just something to consider.

I found I can get by without a trimming mower by using the 60" deck.

Don't worry a moment. You are a experienced Kubota owner yourself. Your choice of the BXxx60 is flat out brilliant and perfect for a maintenance mode on a smaller lot. You know yourself that if you looked for reviews on the B you now own, there would be some "reviews" that were out of whack. So be it.

Your decision is a good one and well thought out. The zero financing, if you get it or even need it, also solid. You mention liking the 60" deck, as yes, you can get the 60" on the BX. Also, if you get one of the last of the slightly older models, you are likely saving at least 2 price increases. Once those are gone, they gone, buddy.

Frankly, this change isn't that huge. It is just your old tractor on a slightly smaller frame and lowered CG. A new tractor smell in your shed? Priceless!

Well the new BX is waiting, and all i need is the check from the person buying my B. Tomorrow i go over the B with the new owner, to be, collect the check, and head down to pickup the new BX, after a quick stop at the bank.

The B has served me well, and it is one **** of a machine. Heres to looking forward to the same in the BX experience. Except now I also get to play in the snow with a snowblower.

Exciting, my friend, exciting. Charge the batteries in the digi camera. Pix or the old gal leaving and pix of the new little stud arriving.

I don't recall you saying what you're getting by way of "socks and shoes" on that new BX? Splitting the difference and just getting R4?

I think you are really going to like your BX. The B is an excellent machine; almost bought one myself, but for needs, I believe the BX will be a better fit.

1*I love my BX / all 3 of them.
2*I was going to buy a B 2410 which is a B7610 with a few more bells and whisles on it.
But once I saw the BX23 it was love at first site.
