I still kinda wish I would have just gotten the B2601 in the first place.

Now that all the "heavy lifting" is done though -- and the BX2370 did it -- there really isn't any need for anything bigger right now.

The owner of the ~8.16 acre vacant lot behind me died in a car accident last year. She used to occasionally hire someone to clean up the trash and rotary-cut the grass & weeds every year or two for the last 30yrs. I've been tempted to try and contact her estate and see if they'd contract with me to maintain it. Hers backs up to another 18.59 acre vacant lot, for a total of ~26.75 acres. Really nice to have the open-space back there, but it sucks that people assume it's city and are always dumping trash out there.

Of course then I'd need a larger tractor... :)

I might take a little longer with your BX but it's got guts. I dug out a 40' x80' foot print for my barn and a driveway to it....it took me 4 days. Sure a larger machine may have dug it quicker but I was having fun. I wouldn't worry about it to much gray machines

We had two old crabapple trees, two large lilac bushes, some other kind of tree, and a pine that I wanted removed.

I'd been talking to the dealership where I purchased the BX2370 about renting a mini-excavator. Was planning to do it next weekend.

In conversation, the salesguy asked if I had TRIED pushing them over with the BX. I hadn't.

First thing I tried when I got the BX2370 back from its 50hrs service, RimGuard and wheel weights (~220+50+50=~320lbs) was pushing them over.

No problem at all. Sure wasn't expecting that. I had previously been really disappointed trying to pull out small bushes / roots.

My turfs are loaded with washer fluid, so only about 90 lbs. Then I added 45 lbs wheel weights each side. I had 260 lbs on the 3pt and still lifted my rear wheel on my hillside. I borrowed some skid steer weights from a neighbor to add to my 3pt, totaling about 420, plus the fluid and wheel weights. I couldn't believe the difference the extra 170 lbs made! It turned it into a small bulldozer! Get some weight back there and see what it does for you!
