3-Point Hitch BX24 3-point hitch and question

Hey Guys,

I have a friend with a BX24 and have a few questions to ask:

Can you use "regular" implements on the 3 point of the BX24 or do you have to get implements made for compact tractors with a narrower stance between the pins that your lower arms go on?

Could anyone that has made a cab, or a windbreak or any type of cab thingy homemade please post some pics of it. He has a snow blower and was wondering of any ideas to stop the blow back of snow and take the wind off him.

Can someone please post a good pic of the way their 3 point is on their BX24. The friend of mine got his with the backhoe and the 3 point was just all thrown in a box with no directions on how to install it. Thanks again.

There are instructions and a diagram in the BX24 owners manual. Not the clearest explanation,but I got it on.

I know I dread putting on the three point hitch. Removing and installing the hoe is way easier than setting up the 3 pt hitch. Make sure your friend's turnbuckles on the lower arms aren't left loose while using his blower.

not sure whats your idea of "regular implements" but the BX will work with anything with cat 1 pins. the only issue is the hieght and wieght. for example the other TBN'ers have stated the posthole digger with regular sized will barely clear the ground. the boxblades, tillers backblades, mowers, etc will work on the BX if over 48 inches. But is it practical? Only you can answer that since you know the soil, terrain better then us. There is a limit according to weight, conditions, and manufacters suggested sizes.
As for the cabs, there have been several posts on homemade cabs on this site. there was one recently where a guy built one himself for his BX23 and it looks wicked cool.
