The dolly would be great if you happen to have a paved surface to use it on. Trying to use it on dirt or grass it doesn't look like it would work too well, that BH is heavy and the wheels would sink in...

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a rookie, I admit I have never taken off the backhoe off my BX24. I just keep thinking that once I get it off, I will have difficulty getting it back on, though to date I have really not had much of a reason to take it off. However, now I am thinking of utilizing my 3-point hitch and need to take the bh off. To those of you who have taken the bh on and off, is it really time consuming and cumbersome? Will this dolly really make a big difference? I assume that these folks designed this dolly for a reason, so I assume it isn't a solution without a problem, is it? Thanks, in advance.

Dieslemadman, just as slewisma said, the bh isn't that hard to deal with. Practice makes almost perfect. I told myself when I bought my tractor that I would keep taking it on and off, so it would become easier each time. I still peak at the manual (brain lock on a few steps) and I can have mine mounted or dismounted in about 10 minutes without rushing. The whole key to success is level ground. Even though I don't mind taking my bh off, I still went ahead and ordered the BXpanded dolly just to make it even easier (I hope).

I am considering the Dolly and the Bucket Hooks. BXpanded offers 5/16 and 3/8 grab hooks or slip hook. I was wondering which types of hooks are most useful. Do any of you guys with FEL hook experience have a preference?

About time someone came up with some easy attach hooks and forks and I like the seat bag and BH dolly also. I haven't taken my BH off yet because I didn't know if I could get it back on OK. The dolly should solve my problem. My only other problem is my CFO won't let me spend anymore $$ right now.
