BX24 DC Outlet, Hot or Not?

Can anyone confirm if the DC Outlet on the BX24 is Hot (on all the time) or Not (switched with the key)?

Thank you for the replies. I asked because after all these years of owning my BX24 I have never tried to use the outlet. Now that I want to it doesn't seem to work so trying something in it didn't help. Thanks again.

Radio Shack makes a nice DC plug for $9.99. I know, I had to install one in my cabbed B3030--it came without one!

I added one to my 5240 and have it wired so it is hot all the time.
