I had a stick destroy the rubber boot (looks just like a CV boot) in front of the hydro fan. Do I need to get this fixed? The fan appears to be fine and working properly. When the boot broke it slid forward and put a small hole in the floor mat. I cant tell if the gap in the plastic was there before it broke. It is the hump in the floor at the rear middle of the floorboard. It made a God awful noise when it happened! As far as the skid plate...I am now sold!
