Bx24 weight

You are going to be over your vehicles towing limit anyway with just the BX24. It weighs 2800# w/ loaded tires and you're going to find a dual axle trailer w/ brakes that weighs 700#? Don't think so.
If you take the BH off maybe.

X2, if your vehicle is only tow rated to 3,500 lbs, then legally your hosed. My little dodge dakota 4x4 was only rated to tow approx 4,800 even though I have a 7K trailer...so...illegal. I will tell you this, on that truck, the load had to be well balanced (I had to add helper springs) or it would sag too much. You "ute" is likely even lighter sprung than my half ton. I'm not saying that it can't do it, it would just be.....uh, interesting.

Good luck
