The only way I can see the MMM NOT getting in the way is if you live on pretty flat ground (meaning not a lot of waves or bumps) and you don't do any work in the woods. The MMM would really get in the way for the work in the woods and on little hills. Even with it raised all the way, the sides tend to scrape against little hills. And because its a 60", it sticks out on either side, which gets in the way on narrower paths. I also think I will not want it on when plowing the new garden. For that, I will be using my new middle buster to loosen things up, and then the FEL to turn things a bit and then use the back of the FEL to grade the raised bed.
So far (one year), what I've done is use the FEL and rear implement (not a BH, but a rear blade) in the spring, take them off for the summer, and put on my MMM and use the tractor to mow, and drag a trailer when clearing trees. Then, in the fall, I put the FEL and rear blade back on for regrading, digging and moving compost around. Eventually, I'd like to get to the point where I am quick enough with implements that taking them off and putting them on is a weekend decision, and not a seasonal decision.
Anyway, I have yet to mow my yard with the FEL on. I live on a big hill, with lots of little hills on the slope and the FEL makes me feel unstable for mowing on the slopes.
