Just found this site and was hoping someone could help me find a grass bagger adapter for a 60" mower deck for my BX25 so that I could attach it to a leaf vac.
Thanks

If I understand you correctly, you want the Boot Kit (set of parts that attaches to the mower deck and on out to the input to the bagger) but not the bagger assembly itself.

If you go onto the Kubota web site and use the Build my Kubota, you can select the BX25 and in the options select the 60" deck, then the grass catcher. Once you have those, do the Quote. In the quote you will see the tractor, grass catcher, and also the "Boot Kit". I think that is what you are wanting - just the Boot Kit.

I used the Parts portion of the Kubota site next. In "Models" I input the words Boot Kit. A set of Boot Kits comes up, and I selected Open on the one for the RCK60B23BX deck (which you'd want to confirm is the model deck that you have.)

On the left, click on the plus sign to open the parts diagram. You will then see the diagram, with the parts list for the Boot Kit below it. The entire assembly part number is first, K6056-30010. However, you also see that has been superseded with the new assembly number of K6056-30012.

Assembly K6056-30012 will have the deck plate adapter, boot that connects at the deck discharge, tube that goes back to the catcher, etc. You'd have to replace the tube for one that reached your leaf vac, or extend it or something...

Please don't order K6056-30012 without verifying everything I found...

Thanks for the info. I had gone to the Kubota web site and started the build, but didn't take it far enough.

I've got the bagger on my 25D and 54" deck. I would not waste my money on that again. Just my $0.02.

If grass is moist it will clog (not wet, moist as in healthy/growing), if grass is long it will clog, if the bags are more than half full it clogs. It just doesn't seem to have enough suction to do much with grass clippings even at really high RPMs. I guess more than anything I was really let down by the quality of this Kubota product compared to everything else they put out.

Here is a post I did on building http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/280945-bx25-bagger-build-review.html

I have the bagger and really like it. It is a bit of a pain to mount on and take off, but worth it - for me anyway. I don't have to remove it all that often throughout the summer, so that makes a difference.

I don't have the clogging problems to the degree sea2summit mentioned above at all. For me it will clog if mowing grass that has gotten really tall and I'm moving too fast. Also, if I've gone too many rounds and the bags have filled completely and I keep going without realizing it, then it will clog the tube of course. I've gotten pretty good at monitoring and not overfilling.

I think the biggest thing is having to stop to empty the bags. I mow until I know the bags are getting pretty full, then stop and mash down the clippings, and keep going longer. I do that a couple times, and can get quite a bit more clippings in that way between dumps. Also, where to put the clippings. I have a perfect spot to dump mine, and have a system for mowing that keeps me from "wasting" the time it takes to go to the dump spot and back.

The section of the lawn that is on the way to the dump is left for last. As I'm mowing the other sections of lawn and get nearly full, I head for my dump - mowing a strip of that last section on the way there. Then dump and mow a strip on the way back. As I get the various other sections of the lawn completed, I've just about completed that last section by making trips to the dump and back. It works out well for me.
