You'll actually find it's because they can't be bothered ; just like all the
accessories they don't keep either . Use JD 10w30 HyGard trans oil.
That's the closest to SUDT . UDT is re packaged 20w and not the factory
recommended multiblend. The revs go 250rpm faster with the correct oil.
The quicker flow rate is important for small HST pumps , which is why JD
source the correct stuff , but then they give a proper warranty too ; not like
the Kubota Aus. tossers ! I get all my non-liquid requirements sent from
CA. Most of Australia's temp isn't any different to large parts of the US , Spain ,
Africa , South America ; and they can get SUDT !
You'll also find their engine oil is base rubbish ; go to Super Cheap Auto and get
some high detergent Castrol RX super ; designed for low pressure fuel pump
/ high soot mini engines .

Have you bought spacers for the rear wheels to increase track and stability
when using the loader on a backhoe machine ?
Thanks for that OrangeRidge . I still have some scientific decisions about oils to make now . after ur post i went to country property and scrutinised the oils . Look i reckon they will do the job ok but next time round i believe i will heed ur advice . appreciate ur interest .One thing inoticed was that some UDT oil ispilt on concrete evaporated to nothing . Not a trace left on concrete ! Dry as ! Most extraordinary ! Could it be UDT is organic hydraulic oil ?

This is what they have repackaged as Kubota UDT :-
My lot don't even keep Kubota repackaged Gear oil or engine oil .
They're real halfarsed over here !

Nice looking spacers OrangeRidge! can you give any details regarding source and pricing? I chicken out at 25 degrees sideslope :D

Bruere, I assume that you did your own servicing, speaking of warranty check your warranty booklet coz mine says that the tractor has to be serviced at least once every 12 months by an authorised dealer to maintain coverage, also use genuine parts ... fluids can be Kubota or equivalent spec ... that's mine understanding anyway
U r right Willi67. I do my own servicing on every thing including car and ute . Imake this a condition of purchaseand buy parts off selling dealer sometimes oil and coolant . In australia u can service with whoever u wish without breaking warranty as long as u use gen parts or equivalent . We can also make a claim onbrand through an opposition brand but seldom does this happen . most common with cars . Its all to do with trade practices legislation. I do service by the book though or better . Half the fun of owning a tractor is doing the servicing and should a p0roblem occur TBN has wonderfull members to advise and help. If we all bought our BX 's at once heck we might get serious discounts . Cheers Willi67
