Anyone have a way to eliminate the ROPS on a BX25 and still support the seat when its turned backwards, a place to mount the lights and also a way to cover up where the two mounting plates go with the four bolts?
My lights are low, down by the fender and I am on level gound and its never leaving my home. When it does go I will put the ROPS back on. Eighth tractor and only the third with ROPS.

stuarth - I'm also contemplating removing the ROPS on my BX2350. Like you, this is my 8th tractor and the only one with roll over protection. I have level ground and a greenhouse with low clearance that the tractor needs to work in. I've had it off, but reinstalled it until I could get around to fabricating brackets for the hazard lights. My plan is to make a square plate that will go over the same bolt holes, and have some standoffs to hold the lights. I'm probably going to tip the lights on their side so they are also less obtrusive.
Remember to keep in mind, these tractors are much lighter than older machines. The BX tractors will tip pretty easily if the bucket isn't loaded evenly.
I would do the same, but mine also has a rod as part of the ROPS that the seat lock's onto when it's turned around facing backwards while using the backhoe...
