The stopper tit isnt centering itself when disconnected, its sitting cockeyed in its bore. The male plug closes in the proper manner when disconnected.
Sounds like you found the problem. I don't know what new Kubota
sub-CUTs are using for QA fittings these days, but my photo shows the
two major types you are likely to find on most tractors, ISO-A, and ISO-B.
You can get these anywhere....I have bought my last dozen or so pairs
from our pals at DiscountHydHose.com. Every major maufacturer makes
them, as far as I can tell. You can tell what Kubota uses just by comparing
to the pix.
If you are getting foam in the hydraulics, it usually means that you
have a suction leak of some sort (assuming no shortage of fluid). Note
that you get a certain amount of air-entrainment when attaching an
implement with empty hyd cyls, or if you are sucking air past your
loader gland seals. The air bubbles will self-purge with time, if you stop
sucking air. A systemic air-entrainment problem could be due to a leaky
implement pump inlet hose/manifold, or clogged hyd fluid intake screen.
