BX25 with front plow

Anyone have an idea why my snowblade moves slow to the right unless I push the lever all the way to the far right where the handle has the detent? All other directions it moves great the way it always has.

The loader valve has a "Regeneration" function to allow the front loader bucket to dump very quickly. It essentially moves the hydraulic fluid from one side of the cylinder to the other. It has less power in that position. Moving the lever to the right, beyond the detent, bypasses the regen function and applies normal system pressure. Your valve is functioning correctly.

I am lost here. Is there a "new" valve I do not know about w/ a snowblade installed? The only "detent" I know of related to the FEL is the "Float" posistion. Does the curl cylinder have a regen circuit?

We're talking about the later model (50 and 60 series) BX standard loader valves. Yes, there is a detent far right with the control lever. When you push the lever past the detent it de-activates the regeneration and applies normal hydraulic pressure. It's only on the dump side. It doesn't stay in that position like the float detent, btw.

Harry I just learned something on my BX25 (the one we just bought your forks for, I should receive the kit today)

I just learned that if I push the FEL bucket lever hard, to the right, it hits a detent!

There is a FLOAT detent pushing up as well.

What is happening here may I ask please? Is this a regen override something or other? I don't understand this regen thing...

Good question, I don't yet 100% understand the regen term either. Harry thank you for your answer so far as at least I don't have something wrong.
