BX25D / B2601 Time to switch between MMM to BH w/ subframe

So, I'm talking to my dealer about buying either a BX25D or B2601. From what I gather, you cannot raise or lower the MMM if the BH subframe is in place. They recommend having either the MMM or BH+subframe, but not both at the same time. Now, switching this subframe in and out sounds like a major PIA. Anyone with experience in this care to comment on time and effort to switch back and forth?

You need to find a new dealer he doesn't know what he's talking about. I have mowed more than once with my BH on, as long as the 3-point hitch is off it's no issue...don't think you could get the BH on with the 3-point hitch without damaging one or the other anyway.

I have mowed with my Bx25 and backhoe on, the subframe on the 25 is part of the frame, it doesnt come off. Dont know about the B2601?

Slimshadie: Are you able to raise and lower the deck of the MMM while the subframe is in place? In my situation, I have to cross some uneven areas with rocks so I raise the deck of my lawn mower when crossing those sections.

There is no change to the operation of the MMM with the BH on. Raise/lower/instal/remove it doesn't change when the BH is on.

As Sea2 said, its like the BH is not even on. Now its not the greatest ride for sure with everything on, FEL & BH while mowing. Way better with everything off and your not so long too. There really isn't a subframe on the BX25. The subframe and frame is 1 unit.

If the 2601 is set up like the Bxx20/2650/3200. then NO you can not raise and lower the mmm with backhoe in place.

The 3pt hitch is used to raise and lower the mmm on the 3 B's I have owned.

The BX25 was able to raise and lower the mmm with backhoe in place.

On my L3240 taking the backhoe off is easy maybe a 3 minute job. Putting the 3 point arms back on would take another 5 minutes. Removing the subframe is a huge job. It took me 2 days to put it on.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Lot of features in the B2601 I liked but the whole subframe vs. MMM was a deal breaker for me. I opted for and bought a BX25DLB today.
