BX25D is now in the garage

Thanks to everyone that helped answer my questions and gather info on the 25D. Tonight we brought it home and used it around the house a little. Worked great, smooth and strong for a small machine. It is very different from my larger tractor and I think it will fit in perfectly. I been on here for years so I know if there is no photo it didn't happen so......

Good luck with the new machine. Do yourself a favor and get one of these filter wrenches. It allows you to remove the oil filter without having to remove the loader and cowling.

Guess I will go with Papa and baby as the big one is "mine" and the little on is the wife's..... Got to be careful or the kids are going to want their own next!

Looks good, wife and I where out the other day....it is fun when you can do things like this together....my kid is out of the house more then he is here now....so I don't have to worry about a tractor for him....now I just worry about him driving....so far it is one building, two ditches, one metal wagon wheel....hope he does not run into anything else.

Congrats on the BX25D. My BX23 is a great little machine, and your 25D should be even better.

Thanks all. I have to check my filter wrench collection and see if I have a 65-68mm. If not I will buy one!

We used the 25 for a few hours today and it worked great. Wife moved mulch (got 6000 lbs delivered) into the flower beds while I moved it with the other tractor to the hill behind the flower gardens. Worked great, didn't tear up the yard and fit a whole lot of places the other machine will not. Loved the turning radius and maneuverability.
Also pulled one little "stump" root thing out that was annoying. 3 scoops with the hoe and grabbed it with the thumb and out it came. Very pleased. Feels really small but that is not a bad thing, it fits everywhere. Seems to have a lot of power for its small size and the hoe is really rather smooth. I did notice I need to have it revved up a bit more than I am used to, seems like 2500-2700 rpms works pretty well. I am used to running 1500-2000 on my MX for loader work but again, just different and not a problem.
I did notice the BX sort of shakes hard when you shut it off (or start it), I am guessing this is normal. I don't get this on my other tractor and never noticed that on any that i have owned in the past. Guessing it is not counter balanced maybe?

Don't worry about the "shake rattle and roll"when you turn if off. Mine does it too.
