My tach went out with only 100 hours on my BX and the dealer said they are having lots of problems with these tachs going out, and that Kubota is aware of the issue and may accomodate you with the price of the tach excluding labor to put it in. I think they run around $270. I will find out if that will happen in my case. I agree, the weather sealing in the instrument gauge is not good.
