I am rather concerned about all the shoddy assembly points that you raise. Maybe they were breaking in a new guy.

and :(

I'll start a new thread called BX HST fan replacement guide...sound good?

I have tons of pics and wonder if the owner of this site might be willing to host them? I'm not sure my account will support that many, and if ever close my hosting account the pics will have broken links. It would be nice to let the TBN site host pics for that reason if at all possible.... Any thoughts? I just hate to do all this work and if ever the links to the pics are broken, the thread won't be as useful.

Suggestions???

Any way you could scan the notes and pictures into a PDF document?
That way we could all open the PDF file and even print it.

I'll take my time and do the write up in Word and sort thru my pics and decide where to go from there I guess. I'll check to see if Acrobat has a free .pdf tool to create a document with including pics.

If you have Microsoft Word 2003 I would do it in that and print it to CutePDF. If you have Word 2007, you can do a "Save As" and save directly to a PDF.
If you dont have either, you can install OpenOffice.Org and save as a PDF from it.

If it's helpful the pics and narrative can be hosted on the BX Wiki site. There's already a dedicated page for the Transmission Fan :)

Here's a page that shows how photos and narrative can be arranged. Let me know if that would be helpful.
