Bob in VT solution is the best so far... Far better than disconnecting it as long as you remember to turn it back on when you are operating it.

The switch would be in parallel with the seat sensor. When you are sitting you would flip this switch and it would by-pass the seat sensor, allowing you to leave the seat without shutting down the machine. (some machines allow you to do this if the e-bake is on)
You should be able to buy what you need at the local auto shop or Radio shack. Disconnect the battery. install switch where convenient and run wire to either side of the seat sensor. Reconnect Battery and away you go....

Now let's see how this shakes out. You have a photo of your Belarus tractor in your avatar that clearly shows no ROPS. Perhaps you would care to describe for us all the features you've added to your tractor for safety. Do you have a ROPS? A neutral sensing switch? A seat safety switch? A PTO switch? Are you expecting us to believe a the Belarus is somehow immune to the safety "religion" you are preaching?

Please give us a break.:confused2: When an adult makes a decision based on how he uses his tractor and his needs, you should not chastise him for his "transgressions" lest you be accused of being the pot calling the kettle black.

Thanks for all the advise, Crash 325 had the idea that worked best for me. I lifted the seat up and took a spring clamp and clamped it down and folded the seat back over and wallla Magic, cheap, very reversible.
