Been thinking about the fan hub tensioner... Any luck yet..?? Not to be thought of as an insult, but you are turning the stud head (13/16" I believe) right directly behind the pulley..., right..?? With all of the one's I have, I've never had a problem with getting one loose. And most, like your's had enough "lube" thrown up on it, to keep the threaded end from rusting to the nut.

Let's hope the PO didn't get corn-fused, and put JB on it, instead of Never-Seize too..!!

Good luck finding a reasonable replacement.

maybee not reasonable.. but I found one.

hopefully it's in the mail 'speeding' towards my doorstep as I speak..

project is at a virtual standstill till I get the front end rebuilt and back on..

i'm pretty sure there is only 1 place to put a wrench on it act of the belt grooves, and that's where I had one.

I hit it good with penetrant oil and have been letting it set.

might take another whack at loosening it. don't want to break that part.. it looks even more expensive..
