I picked up a Farm Pro 2425 a few years ago in need of repair that came with a rear snowblower attachment. I live on the east coast of Newfoundland, our winters consist of predominately wet snow fall with high winds. I liked the snowblower, but not the open cockpit!
I decided to attempt making a cab using some stock I had for the frame (much heaver than needed, but I already had it) then shaping metal I sourced from roof panels of a school bus, in cooperating the canopy already on the tractor. I used the sliding windows, also from the bus, for the sides & had a local auto glass guy make the windshields for the front & rear. Got a Chinese diesel heater in it and life is a lot more comfortable cleaning up the snow.
I saw some other posts here with versions of their diy cabs, hopefully my attempt will help with ideas for anyone thinking of doing the same.
