The F2400 is great. However, I only need it for two purposes - mowing grass and blowing snow, although I do do a bit a grading with the dozer blade from time to time. I have an ATV that I use for yard work. I bought the unit used - it had belonged to the town of Clifford, Ontario, northwest of Guelph. It came with the mower deck, snowblower, dozer blade and cab. The hour meter was broken at 4400+ hours so who knows how many hours are on it. I needed some TLC, but not much else other than an alternator. It has a 60" Kubota side-discharge mower deck. The 52" snowblower is two-stage, made by Van Eyl in Clifford, Ontario. It will blow dry snow about 100 feet at 2000 rpm. It also handles wet snow quite well, which we get a lot of in Niagara. The cab was made by Jodale-Perry in Winkler, Manitoba. The heater works well enough that I can be in shirtsleeves, even on the coldest days. I put an in-line fuel pump in the supply heater hose to aid the circulation to the top of the cab where the heater core is located and it works well - also saves having to bleed the air out of the heater hoses when I put the cab back on for the winter. I put air-hose disconnects on the heater hoses which makes it easy to connect and disconnect them. I find that I do not need tire chains, 4wd is enough, but my driveway is fairly level so I don't have grades to climb although there are times after a heavy snowfall that I use 4wd. The front mount mower makes for a very agile machine. If you don't need an FEL or 3pt hitch, front mounts are great machines. I am just annoyed that it took me so long to figure that out. The municipalities and golf courses use them extensively around here so there are usually some good deals on used machines, which for my money is the only way to go. BTW, if you browse through the signatures thread you will find a picture of my machine in winter dress, complete with salt spreader.
