Miki,

Try; <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.laurin-inc.com/en/cab/menu1_en.htm>http://www.laurin-inc.com/en/cab/menu1_en.htm</A>

However I didn't see any listing for the BX models. Hopefully they are just slow to update their web info.

Good luck,
Michael

The Perry Company out of Texas also offers soft sided cabs. Don't know if they have one specifically for BX2200 though.

Both Curtis and Sims make excellent soft side (deluxe with actual doors, not curtains), and hardside cabs. I am partial to the Curtis as it is a little cleaner, and getting the hood up is easier. The soft side lists at $1595 and $2595 for the hard side, with no options. Laurin also mkes a VERY nice hard side cab, but it seems a little heavy, and true to form, it is pricey.

I also have a curtis cab (soft sided) I love it! It's complete with heater, stereo, and tool holders. I also installed a dome light in it, and top mounted headlights. It only takes me 15 minutes or so in the spring to remove, and 30 minutes to install in the fall. I used quick connects on the heater lines. And an amphenol plug and socket (military style) on the side of the dash for easy electrical connections.

RayS,

Could you elaborate on the install/removal of the Curtis cab?
It would be great if you could post a picture or two of the installation and mounts.

I looked at some cabs at the state fair and the Cozy Cab was suggested as being a removable for summer use. However
my dealer sells Curtis.

Thanks,
Michael

Re: cab for BX2200/1800

The initial install took about 4 hrs. by myself. In the spring when I take it off it's pretty simple. 4 bolts where the handles go, 4 floor board bolts and 2 guards. The water lines are on quick connects so the heater comes off with the cab. It will take at least 2 people or a chain hoist to take it off and on the tractor as a single unit though. I have all the wiring for the accesories going into a plug on the dash to make the job simple. Storage is no problem. It will stand on it's own as is. I'm very happy with it overall.
Sorry no pictures at this time though.
