Cab for BX2350 Tektite Quality value?

I am looking to purchase a Tektite cab for my BX2350. Has any one on this forum purchased one of these from Tektite? I am from Canada and they are manufactured in Manitoba.

Wow, those cabs do look very nice and well engineered. But again looks costly to get to U.S.. Didn't find any link for dealers or costing. If I were to be more serious on a cab I would definately investigate further.

How far are from the Coastal Minerals salt mine at the port of Goderich? I have a friend who works at the mine.



You might be better off buying a Laurin cab they have three models of cabs EL, ES, EX for the BX 2350 with an integral rops for your size tractor and they are in Quebec. The money you can save on freight could buy you an air conditioner. The EX model cab has the most options and is fit for the 2350 as well according to the laurin brochure describing all three models of cabs for the BX 2350.

I checked with Tektite this morning. the list on a deluxe cab for a BX2660 is $4,100 usd . This is the price for the cab only,no heater or lights.

The cost of shipping is not so bad i would not let that stop me they are great cabs and so easy to install and take off, you would not regreet it, hope this helps,

Maybe he has one and is smitten by it as several on here have traded with Barlows (me included) and keep suggesting people get prices from Barlows before buying. I've noticed several people recommending a product they have bought (Ratchet Rake) they are thrilled with (me to) and they mention it alot as a solution for someones described need. Wish both Barlows and Ratchet Rake would give me a commission for telling about my good experience with them. If you believe he works for Tektite, ask him.

Sounds a little high to me IF you are looking at their 'Economy" line of cabs. For comparison we just got a a soft sided Curtis cab (windshield is glass, everything else is some kind of plastic) with a heater and a Kubota 60" hydro lift/turn blade installed on the BX2660 for ~$5000. IIRC the cab was ~3k and the plow was $2k but I could be misremembering how much each piece was.
