Kubota L3410
I have a new L3410 and I am thinking of adding an aftermarket cab. From reading other posts, it seems that Curtis makes a solid product. (any comments on this assumption?) My question is: has anyone installed one of these themselves? If so, is it a job that a non-mechanic like me should undertake? I have not received a firm quote yet but the dealer indicated that this may be at least a day and a half job - at dealer rates this may add quite a bit to the final cost.

On my friend's L4310 (which is for sale over in Kubota Buying) the Curtis cab itself wasn't that big a deal to put on - but I think there was some extra work around the FEL control valve and the heating system. Are you a patient person? If so - give it a go. The quality of the Curtis is good - very rugged.

Hey Mike - I noticed you have an orchard listed as a hobby. Is it one you set out? How many plants? What varieties? What rootstocks? What part of the country? I grew MacIntosh in MA as a "hobby" until I learned how to grow 3000 bushels of nice ones. But then Meryl Streep gave her Alar speech and the game has gotten harder ever since. (Nobody I know ever ate a hundred pounds of just stems - but reason never stops a stampede)
