A quick update on owning a cab tractor. We have lots of snow so far this winter and VERY COLD temperatures with wind. Low tonight is predicted to be -15 F. We had several inches of snow this afternoon and evening and I went out to the wood shop to do some work, but found too much snow.
S O o .. I started the tractor, turned on the heater and started pushing snow in our drive (300+ feet), and all the neighbors. By the end of the hour pushing snow I had to take off my winter coat (or I could have turned down the heater, but why do that).
If I had ever wondered about moving to a cab, this winter has made up my mind. This is really moving into the world of luxury.
