"Cab" project for my R4047

Got my rear work lights wired up. They work great, very bright. I mounted the toggle switch on the steering column. Actually almost looks like stock. Later, I'll add another switch on the left (front lights) and one in the middle (interior dome lights) to match this one.

Always have to watch out for him! I hear he lives in the woods of Northern Michigan, but you never know.

I put a cab on my Yamaha rhino a few years back and had a piece of tempered glass made at a glass shop. it cost about a hundred dollars. also look into a wiper motor for a jeep it is mounted on the frame. I found a you tube video with a Totron LED light bar and they are amazing. I looked them up on Ebay and they are about $250 for a $30" model but it turns night into day. the one I looked at used 120 watts. I am really impressed with your cab setup. I think I may do something like that also. I just want the top and a windshield leaving the sides and back open.maybe a convertible top type plastic window material I could pull down in a rain storm. just a thought. Bruce

Thanks fellas, I think that's exactly what I'm going to do, head to a custom glass shop to have the front windshield made. For the back, I might end up using plexi. and depending on how much time I have this year, I might try to find a heavy duty clear vinyl to use for the sides. I'm thinking if I find a way to use button snaps it would be easy to put on and take off.

A little update: finally got around to adding my front lighting. Ended up going with a 16" led combo (spot & flood pattern) light bar. Something like $135 shipped on eBay. Only tried it today during the daylight, but I'll test it out again tonight after it gets dark (assuming it stops raining), and take another pic.

While I was at it, I drilled another prep hole in the dash panel where I'm mounting the toggles, as the middle one will belong to either an interior dome light, or exterior side lighting if necessary.

All in all, I think it looks pretty sweet.

Still have to work on side panels for the cab, just been busy. ..
