Cable chains for tractor tires?

I'm down in Valdez and my dealer installed 3" spacers on my Kubota for chain clearance. The chains that Citydude posted will work if you can get them. I tried chains for about a week and removed them. It felt like I was driving on an extension ladder. I switched to screw in studs. https://www.koldkutter.com/products-1 Takes time to install and remove in the spring but I have the time to do it. I got stuck two times. Once out at the road but the snow was light and fluffy and I drove off into a pile 5' deep. Same up by the house, my fault. It was a light fluffy snow year last year. Ice was no problem and going up my 10 degree drive was no issue unless I was pushing heavy stuff from the state plow. Not much snow here last year maybe 280" and that was it.
You must have been using the regular old style chain, the boxed style, OFA, Aquiline and Tryggs provide a smooth ride as you are always on chain.
The conventional style 2 or 4 link will give you a tough ride

I DIY'd a set of 2 link ladder chains for my CUT that had so little clearance that my hand won't fit.
Mine are made with the euro welded stud type ice chain.
The secret is good binders to prevent the cross links from flinging out.
I even DIY'd my own binders using HD bungy cord and 'S' hooks.

The answer is simple. It's just not designed for the use of chains.

I live in SW Michigan and I use H chains on my tractor(2wd). They cost about $350 about 10 years ago but very strong links. The H keeps them on top of the lugs. Not a noticeable difference in ride. I used to plow my 1/2 mile driveway with a S-10 pickup. I put the chains on the front so I had steering control. Looking at the picture, I’d put the chains on the front.

Everytime I swap trucks, I take those "snow chains" out and throw them in the garage. I bet there are probably half a dozen bags with them out there. We don't need them down here, and they aren't legal to run in most states around here.
I have thought about making up a set for my JD2555 just to see if they would help in the mud!

They indeed help in mud.
