Oh Yeah - we are having FUN already and still have a fair piece to go before we can start digging - this LINK SHOULD take you to some photos of our work to date.

We are definately putting footrests and sheilds on the unit.

May get to installing the seat next week - it will be interesting.

Well, it works great! We installed the hydraulics to put the quick couplers in the back of the BX2200, same as the BX22. I'm not going to be doing too much digging. In fact, my first project was to dig a new hole for composting. But it was still a great project. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Dave, I'm going to build this same model 608 Caddigger. I saw you put about a 30 deg. bend in the lower boom at the middle bracket attachment plate, I can see the reason... as it looks like the dipper boom is too short in relation to the main boom. It looks as if the main boom will hit the side of the hole you are digging before you get the required five feet deep. Do you have a comment about this?? Thank you. BG in Iowa
