Getting back to the question on trailers from Miska

Next time I'm in the market for a trailer, I'll be giving them a good look. They seem to be well priced. I would lean towards 5200 or 6000 lb axles, with brakes on both.. and have the RGVW down to 9900lbs. "upgrading" to radial tires or LT tires is worth looking in to.

C-channel frame will last longer then tube.... but might tend to twist a bit more at its limits... but rust is the biggest concern so go c-channel and get it undercoated before its 1st winter.

my only other tip is make sure the jack is far enough back you can drop a tailgate.

Never thought about the distance back to the jack with my 1st trailer, my tailgate bear the evidence!

No offense intended, but.......
I am an American with a seasonal residence in Canada.
Have heard that a farting permit will soon be required in Canada.
Permit required for EVERYTHING!

Better be careful!! Up here we'll put a carbon tax on that fart! You are contributing to global warming!

The "Trumpster" says that we need to put that global warming stuff on the back burner for a while.
