I don't have a problem with mice. My problem is with ants. Not the biting type. Just small black ants. I call them piss ants

Had that same problem several years ago in Calif.......those little suckers will climb up anything touching the ground.....electric cord, water hose, tires......had them in the walls of a former trailer. We kept cords off the ground and sprayed bug spray around on tires and electric and water connections.

I've heard bounce dryer sheets do well for keeping mice away. Just place them all over in the camper, cabinets, under bed etc.

That does help........also....when storing a trailer for any length of time....remove all food and stuff that smells like food.....like toothpaste. You also don't want to leave any nesting material in closed cabinets like towels, toilet paper....etc..... Best to leave all the cabinet doors open for ventilation and moisture control.

We've had a pop up (Forest river) since 2000.
We've taken it to Baja, Mexico many, many times, and It's the best thing since sliced bread for hot weather camping!
We set up on the beach, miles from nowhere, for at least two weeks at a time.
No power, no A/C.

The 360 degree windows, coupled with just getting up off the hot sand, means the interior is quite a bit cooler than outside.
As long as there's a breeze, anyway.
In hot country, It's all about the shade!

I had the same experience with using them in the tool compartment of my Kubota. They left a little note requesting more.

I use peppermint oil on a few cotton balls to repel mice in my camper when not being used for a while. I do use the dryer sheets in my boat to repel spiders.
