Can稚 Bleed Hydraulics or Reconnect Backhoe

New owner of emax 20. I took the backhoe off and it has been impossible to reconnect the hoses. The backhoe settled and was bumped a bit , leaving it lower than it was by about 5 inches. I have been trying to bleed the backhoe lines by loosening the hoses seatings. From what I致e read, the problem is because it settled and I should have done it on more solid ground.

Any suggestions on how to lessen the pressure and get the hoses attached? Thanks.

Cycle all of the BH controls through all of their positions, including the outrigger levers.

You may have to use a small soft faced (plastic, leather, rubber) hammer to tap the ball on the ends of the hose fittings. When the pressurized one releases, there should be a burp of oil, so use a rag.

Yes, bleed each cylinder hose also make sure you moved your front loader stick in all 4 directions before disconnecting hoses from the emax.

Block it well before doing any suggestions above! If you don't it may settle more or even fall FAST on you!

After that you should be able to loosen one of the hose fittings and bleed some pressure to allow you to reconnect to the tractor.
