You need a valve for your remotes.

So you need to decide on 2 remotes, 3, etc.

Valve needs to be open center, AND have an optional power beyond plug.

The line currently running to SUPPLY the backhoe needs to be re-routed and NOW supply the new remote valves.

The Power beyond out of the new valve needs a hose added to get back to where your backhoe hookup was. This is the new supply for the backhoe.

You need to ADD a return to tank somewhere from the new valve. This can be Tee'd in anywhere with an existing return line. (the backhoe return is NOT an actual return line, rather that is the feed for the 3PH).

Then you need to add your rear couplers.....mounted however you wish.

You still need to couple the backhoe lines together when backhoe is detached.

Thanks, this is what I needed. The simple yet specific points. Thanks again!

As long as LD1 is looking at this thread. I have a GC1720 and there are 3 lines serving the backhoe. There is a supply line from the loader valve, a second line that is looped with that supply when detached, and a third line (female) that is on the tractor and is capped when BH not attached.

LD1: Do you know what the 2nd and third line are actually connected to? Is it supply, return, bypass (for BH pressure)? It's great that these smaller tractors come with power beyond and backhoes, but simply color-coding the connections with no explanation as to function is a major shortcoming of the engineering and manuals.

The line you cap is most likely a return line for power beyond kit on your backhoe.

Yea, most likely a return.

Just like your loader valve.....it has 3 hoses (not counting the work ports).
1. supply
2. power beyond
3. return

Most tractors with a backhoe added dont need the third line. They just use supply and "technically" power beyond. As what returns from the backhoe actually still goes through the 3PH valve.

But since the tank port on valves isnt rated for pressure........it cannot actually function as a power beyond. Thus most operators manuals will caution you to lower the 3PH lever and NOT MOVE it when the backhoe is attached. Because you could overpressurize that tank passage that they are using as power beyond.

Not an issue as you cant use the 3PH with the BH on anyway.

But if you have a 3rd line.....the one you cap is just a tank line. And the two you loop together...1 is supply.....and you loop it back to the PB line so it will still feed your 3PH

Whilst were on the subject...So on our LS, the backhoe is plumbed through a set of rear remotes. (Tractor has a single set) I was considering either a TNT or maybe even adding a cylinder for grading and not worrying about the tilt. Any recommendations on a valve that would be plug and play for this?

I'd think that those are a great way to split the remotes for the TNT if I went that route complete. I would assume though that I would want a regular directional control valve though to have control over the cylinder. This is making the assumption that the current valve wouldn't have a good flow control plus I would need to lift the blade as well. When they installed the remotes, they used different sized couplers than the loader couplers from the factory. Something else for the list.

No, that's the kit sans the decal. Have to go shopping now!

you shouldn't need quick connects then... the multiplier has the larger qc's on it
