One seems to be able to add all sorts of things to a FEL. Like another post, I've used the holes needed for my tooth bar (and cut, via Unibit, another sets of holes behind the first set so I can really bolt stuff on tight) to hold a platform for my wife to trim trees, and also a garbage can/large branch/whatever hauler. The platform has a 2 X 6 lower frame (sticks out about 2 feet from the front of the bucket), covered by 3/4 plywood, and 2 X 4 railing, and the "whatever" is basically made of an eight foot length of 2 X 6 extending from either side of the bucket, connected with 2 X 2s every 2 feet and covered with a 1/2 sheet of plywood. Yup, you have to be careful when moving around, but it sure beats the bed of my pick-up as an all purpose short distance hauler. As far as my wife's trimming platform, it will raise easily to the full bucket height, and is great for tree trimming, fruit picking, etc - and yes, if it were the least bit unstable, she wouldn't get into it - I keep a box blade or brush cutter attached, and near the ground, to keep the center of gravity low when I'm toting my wife around, but tractor, with me, instead of my wife, bouncing on 1 side of the platform, seems oblivious.
