Box Scraper Can I Use a Box Blade for Plowing

Several of you recommended using a "middle buster". Where I'm from, a middle buster is used to unearth row crops like potatoes and carrots. They have moldboards to the left and right.
Are you guys calling a single bottom plow a middle buster?

I know there are different names for the same things in different parts of the country...just checking.

Funny out here they call those "furrowers".

I've also heard them called removable shares.
I just bought 3 removable furrowers like that at the Kubota dealer and that's what they called them. I'm going to put on extra long shanks in my boxblade and attach the furrowers to the shanks so I can plow better with my boxblade. It's only for my food plot and I won't be doing any farming so to speak. I figure it would be better than just the scarifiers I've used in the past.

Springtine harrow followed by boxblade to collect larger rocks and landscape rake for smaller rocks, then disc was my recipe for clearcut reclamation to establish foodplots. Of course, bushhogged tall weeds first. Ideal if you had the time to bushhog, let tender weeds stick their heads up, then whack them with glyphosate before tilling.

I'm going to put on extra long shanks in my boxblade and attach the furrowers to the shanks so I can plow better with my boxblade.

Aren't you worried that the extra leverage will be hard on the both the tops of the shanks and the BB, particularly where they attach?
