This is what puzzles me. Folks are concerned about their privacy here. How in the world does Facebook survive when everyone puts their home town on it. Not many mass killings from Facebook users because of it.
I find it at least a little interesting when I know at least which state a guy is from. Many TBN users are paranoid.
The government has satellites that can read your license plates from 100 miles away. Many modern cars continually broadcast their location back to the manufacturer. Your cell phone is tracking your movements (and stops) as well, in some cases even when turned off. The NSA put trap doors in most of the network equipment you use. They collect the metadata on ALL your phone calls. The Patriot Act passed after 911 gives law enforcement Sneak and Peek warrant authority.
So the government is tracking you in half a dozen ways. Yet some people here are worried about the loss of privacy that posting a vague home reference will cause.
I have news for you: without even accessing the data traffic that got you here, you can read a dozen of your posts and figure out where they live anyway. So to my mind, you are just being rude.
