Rest in Peace
Sometimes decisions are tough, Shane. I've had my share of buying cheap, only to have to upgrade later. On the other hand, I've sometimes bought a lot more than I really needed, too.
I was concerned about parts availability and repair service, and I simply could not find anyone who works on the electric models except Northern Tool. So this morning, I went to Home Depot and bought the Husky 1800S. I guess? they added the letter "S" when they came out with this one that has a couple of features that are not mentioned on the Internet, like a set of 3 indicator lights. Whether it's a good one remains to be seen, but the specs on this $169 Husky are better than the specs on the $280 Karcher, it's supposed to be a 3 year warranty instead of one year and their website has a parts list with prices. I think it ought to do what I need to do.
I appreciate the information from everyone.
