I have a 2018 MF 1726E. It has always been hard to engage the PTO. In fact, I usually use a big screwdriver as a pry bar to get the PTO selector lever to move forward into the engaged position. Today, however, I cannot for the life of me get it to move into the engaged position. I have the tractor in neutral, and in the neutral range, with the engine running at a slow speed, and I press the clutch pedal. What can I do short of having the tractor transported in to the dealership?

It should never have been that hard to engage to begin with, did you bring that up with your dealer?
It was hard at the start, but not undoable. He said it would get easier as it broke in. I took his word. Oh well. I can go back to him and tell my tale and see if he takes pity, but I doubt that he's going to send a truck & trailer to pick it up, etc.. I just wondered if there is anything else I should try.
I have sprayed WD40 on everything I can see connected w/ it...

It may be more practical and economical for everyone concerned to get the dealer to send someone out to look at it. Remind him he told you it would get easier and instead it got worse. Obviously it is a little late to be getting that done but ... just do it. May or may not need to go to the shop.
