You looking for a hard top ( plastic, fiberglass, or aluminum ) or canvas buggy/umbrella style?

Looking for fiberglass, appears that I've answered my own question. I found one made by Firebird Fiberglass made right here in Phoenix, $457 through the Kubota dealer.

Thanks,

If you're not sold on a fiberglass canopy, check out Wells Ag. Several on here have recommended them. They are made out of steal and much more stout then a fiberglass one. Do a search on them, there is lots of info. I'll post a pic of mine. I got it for under $400 even after the dealership jacked up the price. They sure take a beating. My dealership had never heard of them before but after he ordered one for me, he was impressed enough that he said he will probably start carrying them.

I like that Metal Canopy. Is it very heavy if you have to lower the ROPS?

"Did it include instalation brackets?"

Yes, everything was included with the order. I think I found them online in mid $300 range. My wife had already gotten me a gift certificate at the dealer so that is why I went through them.

It is heavy. It's not one that you want to be taking on and off a lot. I'm not sure how it would be lowering the ROPS with it on. One other thing to consider, I believe you can trailer your tractor with this canopy on, unlike some of the others. I haven't done it yet but I know others have claimed they do.

Wow.. I hadn't even thought about some canopies being un-trailerable... I know the one on my 7610s is fine on a trailer... it's a metal one.. etc..

I have the Wells Ags canopy. I am happy with it. You could even make a cheap prices and looking enclosed cab with some effort.

I ordered mine through the internet. Go to Wells Ag Company. Shipping was substantially cheaper to a commercial address.

I was told by my sales rep that you could trailer it, but make sure the bolts are tight. Also he advised to trailer it backwards. The canopy is not intended to be taken on and off all the time. You'd have to remove I believe 4 bolts to take the canopy off. I think it weighs about 80 pounds.

I made one for my tractor with a wood frame, canvas cover, and a couple steel supports. It took me about 2 hours to make and materials were free (stuff I had laying around). I made it larger and deeper than most of the store-bought ones pictured here, and that makes it do a better job blocking out the sun. It is light weight and can be removed quickly (attaches with 4 bolts) for trailering or to get the tractor into low overhead doors. I have been very thankfull for it under the hot sun the last 3 summers. Sorry I dont have a camera to post pictures. The dimensions are 5 ft wide at the back, 4 ft wide at the front, 5 ft long, 2" deep at the front, 12" deep at the back. Attaches to the top of roll bar 6" from the back with (2) 5/16" bolts (drilled thru the roll bar). Has a wood frame made from 1-1/2" square pine, and metal supports made from 1/2" dia rod that run from the roll bar to the center of the canopy lower edge on both sides at about a 30 deg angle. The tapered frame (5 ft wide in back, 4 ft in front) does a good job deflecting branches and lets you mow up close to trees. It is better in many ways than those you can buy, mainly due to its light weight, larger size, and ease of attachment. The canvas is an old, tan, fabric boat cover that blocks the sun almost completely. I tried a plastic tarp first but that just seemed to intensify the sunlight coming thru.
