After trying to get hold of the Walmart claims agent since Friday before last, I finally got in touch with them today after holding on the phone for 1 1/2 hours. They tried to tell me that their tire machines could not bend rims and that they were not at fault. After I explained that the technician admitted that the machine probably bent the rim and wrote on my receipt to go buy a new rim and they would reimburse me for it, they decided to comply and said they will mail me a check for the full amount of the rim. I am sure happy that I had the worker write that on my receipt or I never would have seen the refund.
